Cath has many years of experience of working in the health and social care sector. Initially working with children and young people at the Caldecott Foundation and later, post qualifying as Social Worker, working with adults with learning disabilities for Hft and Macintyre.
Since 2010 Cath has moved from managing adult services to managing in learning and development. Initially working as the training manager for a leading provider of housing and support services for older people and then for Social Enterprise Kent.
Over a long career Cath has maintained a passion for supporting people who work in the sector to progress in their careers through learning and development, building practitioner resilience and competencies and encouraging those who dare to progress confidently into more senior roles. Cath is a dedicated Skills Tutor, Assessor and Verifier supporting individuals to achieve apprenticeships and qualifications in adult and child care
